Product description
The Neuweierer Mauerberg Riesling Spätlese halbtrocken is a refined semi-dry wine that beautifully reflects the elegance of its origin. Originating from the renowned southern slope 'Mauerberg' in the Baden-Baden Rebland region, this Riesling is characterised by its fruity character and balanced style. In the glass, it reveals aromas of ripe apples, accompanied by a delicate hint of citrus, pineapple and vineyard peach. The palate is full-bodied yet refreshing, with a subtle residual sweetness that creates a harmonious tension between fruit and acidity.
This Spätlese is not only a delight on its own, but also a versatile companion at the table. It goes extremely well with the refined, spicy flavours of Asian cuisine, seafood, fish and light meats. It also comes into its own with desserts such as a fresh fruit salad or a creamy Crème Brûlée.
With an alcohol content of 11.5% and a pleasant residual sweetness of 22.1 g/l, this Riesling is perfect for drinking now, but can continue to develop beautifully in bottle for another three to five years. Serve it lightly chilled, at a temperature of 8 to 10 °C, and discover the class of a wine that elegantly expresses the character of the Neuweier terroir.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
