Cantine Miali's Primitivo is a wine with character and depth, coming from old, traditionally tethered vines. This red classic from Puglia exudes an intense ruby red with purple reflections, which immediately betrays the wine's power and maturity. On the nose, it presents an enticing bouquet of ripe red fruit, subtle spiciness and a pleasing complexity that invites the first glass.
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in the first 10 days of September, even before they become overripe. Prolonged skin aging gives this Primitivo its firm structure and long finish. The result is a full, harmonious wine with a nice balance between power and elegance.
This Primitivo is best enjoyed with hearty dishes such as roasted or stuffed meat, grilled dishes from the barbecue or pasta with rich meat sauces. Serve the wine at 18°C to fully enjoy its intense aromas and round flavour experience. A true classic from the heart of the Valle d'Itria.
