The Château La Tuilière Tradition is the heart of the estate and embodies everything Vignes Secrètes stands for: elegance, depth and timeless Bordeaux class. Located along the Gironde and influenced by the mild estuary climate, a wine is created here that already charms today, but also effortlessly stands the test of time. It is a wine that tells stories - of terroir, craftsmanship and patience.
The blend of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec gives this wine its characterful structure. Originating from clay and chalky soils, the grapes are carefully selected and vinified in concrete tanks. Maturation on the lie, partly complemented by wood and micro-oxygenation, adds roundness, complexity and balance. The result is a wine with depth as well as finesse.
In the glass, this cuvée shows a deep garnet red colour with intense reflections. The aroma opens with ripe red fruit such as raspberry and blueberry, complemented by a slight sweet-spicy touch. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with ripe tannins and a long, elegant finish. This is a classic but accessible Bordeaux that manages to convince both now and in years to come.
