Vignobles Mallard's Crémant de Bordeaux Rosé Demi-Sec is the playful, gourmand counterpart to the Brut. Made on argilo limestone soils and also using the traditional method, but with a slightly sweet profile that lets the juicy fruit speak for itself. This rosé is seductive, festive and finishes with a long, fruity finish.
The wine is made from 100% Merlot. Pressing and cold stabilisation are followed by temperature-controlled fermentation and second fermentation in bottle. The wine matures for 6 months on the lie for extra roundness and mousse, while retaining freshness.
In the glass, the colour is soft rosé with fine bubbles. The nose opens with small red fruits; on the palate, the wine is gourmand and supple, with a sweet touch that remains nicely balanced thanks to fresh acids. The finish is long and fruity.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
