Weingut Dopler's Cabernet Sauvignon Trocken is a powerful and characterful red wine from the Thermenregion, classically aged in small wooden barrels. With its deep red colour and compact structure, it shows itself as a wine with guts and finesse. In the nose and on the palate, it is distinctly fruity, with notes of ripe berries and dark fruits that flow seamlessly into a soft, almost creamy finish.
Ageing in old wooden barrels gives the wine depth and refinement without overpowering the fruit expression. The tannins are silkily integrated, giving an elegant mouth structure and a long, balanced finish. This wine received 90 points in the Falstaff Rotwein Guide, a nice recognition of its quality and style.
