The 2017 'Lindbergh' is a powerful and elegant red cuvée of Pinot Noir (Blauburgunder) and St Laurent, from carefully selected grapes from the Thermenregion. After a long maturation in small oak barrels, this wine develops a layered character that exudes both charm and depth. The result is a complex, refined wine with a nice balance between ripe fruit notes and fine wood influences.
In the glass, it shows full and silky smooth, with a fragrant nose of dark berries, subtle spices and a hint of toasted vanilla. On the palate, it convinces with velvety tannins, a powerful structure and a long, elegant finish. This wine is at its best with a serving temperature of 17-18°C.
The Lindbergh is an award-winning wine and loved by critics, including 94 points from A la Carte, 92 points from Falstaff, 17/20 from Gault&Millau and four glasses from WEINpur. A wine for special moments and an excellent companion with game dishes, grilled red meat or refined stews.
