The 'Daniel' Cabernet Sauvignon Trocken 2017 is an impressive and powerful red wine of exceptional quality. This single-varietal Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a very low yield per vine, resulting in a concentrated, fruity and extract-filled wine. Its 18-month ageing in oak barriques gives it extra depth, structure and an elegant wood touch, without losing its freshness.
In the glass, this wine shows compact and intense, with aromas of ripe black fruit, a subtle smokiness and refined spiciness. The powerful structure is supported by silky tannins and a long, balanced finish. 'Daniel' is a distinct wine with character, perfect for special occasions and long ageing in bottle.
Awarded 90 Falstaff points, 92 points in Al La Carte and four stars in the Vinaria Weinguide 2021/22, as well as the gold quality label of the Niederösterreichse Landesweinprämierung in 2022, this wine confirms its status as a top cuvée.
