La Montina's 2018 Franciacorta Riserva Quor Nature is the house's flagship wine and is produced exclusively in outstanding vintage years, with grapes sourced from the oldest and most sustainable vineyards. The blend of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Nero is extremely gently pressed using the traditional Marmonier Vertical Press, resulting in a wine of great finesse and depth.
In the glass, Quor shows a bright yellow colour, while the nose is seduced by aromas of ripe yellow fruit, subtle toast and honeyed nuances that enhance its elegance. The wood aging, visible in the colour and noticeable on the palate, adds complexity and character. On the palate, the wine is distinguished by lively acidity, combined with a rich, full-bodied flavour structure that makes it ideally suited to refined dishes, including meat dishes such as the traditional "Spiedo Bresciano".
Quor Nature 2018 is aged on the yeasts for a minimum of 68 months and contains no dosage, bringing out the pure character of the terroir unmistakably. Served at 8°C, this Franciacorta Riserva reveals its full power, balance and gastronomic versatility. A wine that brings together tradition, craftsmanship and exceptional vintages in one iconic expression.
