La Montina's Franciacorta Rosé Extra Brut is an expressive and characterful sparkling wine, bringing together 85% Pinot Nero and 15% Chardonnay in a sophisticated composition. The grapes come from vineyards with a rich history and proven quality. The gentle pressing and carefully chosen maceration time on the skins give this wine its power, complexity and long finish, while the Chardonnay provides balance and finesse.
In the glass, it shows a delicate rosé colour with a soft, rich mousse. The nose is dominated by pronounced aromas of berries and ripe red fruit, which are continued on the palate by a full, round flavour with a firm structure. The low sugar content of 3.5 grams per litre emphasises its fresh and pure style, while the aging of at least 32 months on yeasts gives it depth and elegance.
This Rosé Extra Brut is versatile: excellent as a festive aperitif, but also a perfect companion to fine meats, grilled meats, blue cheeses and Grana Padano. Served at 7°C, its full-bodied character and gastronomic versatility come into their own.
