Product description
Die Kleine Eiszeit Rosé Icewine is only made in years when nature allows it. The grapes are harvested only once deep frost has set in across the vineyards. At temperatures around –8.5 °C, the water inside the berries remains frozen, so pressing yields a highly concentrated must. This rare moment gives the icewine its remarkable depth, intense fruit expression and the natural tension between sweetness and freshness that defines great icewine.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright, clear rosé hue. The nose reveals ripe red berries with subtle floral nuances, while the palate combines generous sweetness with a lively, precise acidity. The texture is silky and almost creamy, yet never heavy. The balance between concentration and freshness creates elegance and length, making this an icewine that feels rich yet surprisingly light on its feet.
As a dessert wine, Die Kleine Eiszeit Rosé Icewine 2025 shines alongside fruit-based desserts and fine pastries, and offers a beautiful contrast with blue cheese, while also being a pleasure to enjoy on its own as a contemplative wine. Served well chilled, it reveals its full aromatic clarity and remains vibrant until the last sip.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
