Champagne Hautbois' Tradition Brut is a classic and elegant champagne in which Pinot Meunier plays the leading role. This refined Brut combines fruity roundness with fresh tension and a subtle spicy character. Thanks to the limestone and clay soils and the southern exposure of the vineyards, the champagne develops a nice balance between ripe fruit, finesse and lively freshness.
In the glass, the champagne shows a golden yellow colour with a fine and persistent mousse. In the nose, aromas of ripe pear, baked apple, citrus and subtle vanilla notes open harmoniously. On the palate, the champagne presents itself full and creamy, with notes of brioche, grapefruit and a slight spiciness in the long finish. The combination of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation adds softness and complexity, while the maturation of at least 2.5 years on the lees gives the champagne extra finesse and elegance.
