Product description
Sometimes a wine emerges from more than just grapes and terroir - sometimes it emerges from collaboration. This Riesling cuvée from Johanninger x Weinreich is just that: a wine that symbolises the collaboration between two German wineries. By combining their knowledge, vineyards and vision, both winemakers wanted to create a wine that brings together the character of their regions in one glass.
The grapes come from the classic German Riesling regions of Nahe and Rheingau, areas known for their mineral soils and ideal climate for this grape. The Nahe often brings fresh tension and minerality, while the Rheingau is known for its elegant structure and ripe fruit aromas. The result is a Riesling with a refined balance of lively acidity, subtle fruit and a slight roundness.
In the glass, the wine shows a bright pale yellow colour and a fresh, aromatic expression. In the nose, notes of citrus, green apple and white peach appear, complemented by a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, the wine is lively and elegant, with a nice balance between fresh acidity and a slight residual sweetness. This cuvée shows how two terroirs and two winemakers together can tell one harmonious story.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
