The 'Manus Plere' Pecorino IGT Colline Pescaresi 2024 is a flavorful, fruity white wine from Abruzzo made from 100% Pecorino grapes. The grapes are carefully selected in the first week of September and grow on calcareous clay slopes with a favorable south to southeast exposure. The high quality of the grapes, the processing technique, including the use of cooling, and the equipment and vats, all made of stainless steel, give these wines their unmistakable aromas, which are deeply linked to their regional origins.
In the glass, the wine presents itself as straw yellow with green reflections. The bouquet is fruity, with notes of citrus and mango. On the palate, it reveals itself to be flavorful and well-structured, with a juicy freshness. The result is a fresh, fruity wine that reflects its heritage.
This Pecorino is an excellent accompaniment to fish and shellfish starters with sauces, but also comes into its own perfectly as an aperitif. Serve at 8–12 °C to let the wine speak in all its glory.
