Pinot Gris - Valle d'Aosta DOC is a historic cuvée that comes into its own perfectly in the fresh mountain climate of the Aosta Valley. Here, where cool nights and sunny days alternate, Pinot Gris develops not only aromatic finesse, but also more structure and depth. The mountain terroir gives the wine extra tension, minerality and a distinct character.
Made from 100% Pinot Gris, the wine undergoes a careful vinification: 60% matures in stainless steel and 40% in small French oak barrels, followed by a period of bâtonnage on the fine lie. This combination creates a harmonious balance between freshness and roundness. With an alcohol content of 14.5% and vines between 10 and 20 years old, this wine offers concentration without losing its elegance.
In the glass, it shows up rich and structured, with nice freshness and clear mineral undertones. The palate is full and broad, with pleasant tension that lasts for a long time. This is not a light Pinot Gris, but a powerful mountain interpretation with storage potential of up to ten years. Perfect with poultry, creamy fish dishes or refined mountain cheeses.
