St Pierre - Valle d'Aosta Pinot Noir DOC is an exceptional mountain Pinot Noir that fully expresses the ageing potential of this noble grape. Sourced from carefully selected vineyards in the Aosta Valley, where altitude and fresh mountain air create a perfect balance between alcohol and acidity, this wine shows a refined yet powerful interpretation of Alpine-style Pinot Noir.
Made from 100% Pinot Noir, the wine matures for 24 months in small French oak barrels. The vines of around 10 to 20 years old produce concentrated grapes with fine aromas and ripe fruit. In the glass, Pierre presents itself with an elegant ruby red colour. The nose reveals delicate notes of red fruit, subtle spiciness and refined wood influences. On the palate, it is structured, round and harmonious, with a full texture and well-integrated tannins.
This Pinot Noir stands out for its complexity and balance, where the freshness of the mountain terroir meets the depth of wood aging.
