Not every red wine has to be serious. The Regent lieblich from Weingut Keber Kolling is a cheerful, fruity and gently sweet red wine for people who simply want to enjoy a nice drink, without any pretension. Deep red in colour, charming in character and offering immediate drinking pleasure.
In the glass, the wine displays an intense, deep red colour. The aroma is inviting and full-bodied: ripe cherries, blackberries and blackcurrants, complemented by a hint of vanilla and subtle spice. On the palate, it is soft and velvety, with a harmonious residual sweetness that beautifully frames the dark fruit. The mild tannin structure makes it particularly accessible and easy to drink.
A wine for relaxed evenings and for those who do not favour overly dry red wine. It pairs well with dark chocolate desserts, mild soft cheeses or simply on its own as a fruity red wine whilst relaxing on the sofa. It is also a pleasant choice for those who prefer something a little sweeter, alongside lighter red meats or a cheese platter. Serve at 14–16°C or slightly chilled for added freshness.
