The Umweger Stich den Buben Riesling Kabinett halbtrocken is an elegant wine with an exotic character, bottled in the distinctive Bocksbeutel bottle. This Riesling seduces with a fragrant nose full of notes of honey and tropical fruit, such as mango and passion fruit. On the palate, it presents itself with a soft, sweet texture that is beautifully balanced with lively, fresh acidity.
This wine is ideally suited as an accompaniment to light dishes. Think gently cooked sea or freshwater fish, chicken in light sauces or refined Asian rice dishes. Its harmonious sweet-sour balance makes it versatile at the table.
With an alcohol content of 10.5%, a residual sugar level of 19.4 g/L and fresh acidity of 6.3 g/L, this Riesling is a true expression of its terroir. Ideal for drinking young, but also suitable for storage for 3-4 years. Serve preferably slightly chilled, between 8 and 10 °C, for the best flavour experience.
