I Ciacca is a family-run winery in Picinisco, a medieval mountain village halfway between Rome and Naples, situated at an altitude of 725 metres in the Val di Comino. The Di Ciacca family has been connected to the village for over 500 years. The estate was abandoned more than fifty years ago — it had even disappeared from the map — but has since been fully restored and brought back to life. Today, I Ciacca is once again a vibrant home for the family, dedicated to preserving and sharing Picinisco’s traditions of hospitality, food, wine and culture.
