Product description
The ‘Fama’ Langhe Favorita DOC 2022 is an elegant and vibrant white wine that authentically expresses the character of the Favorita grape. Sourced from the rolling hills of the Langhe at around 330 meters above sea level, the vineyard benefits from a southeast exposure and calcareous marl soils that contribute freshness and finesse. The grapes are carefully hand-harvested in late September and gently pressed upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the wine’s bright and fruity profile.
After a short period of aging on fine lees, the wine develops a subtle complexity while retaining its clarity and liveliness. In the glass, ‘Fama’ Favorita shows a pale yellow hue with greenish reflections. The nose opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, citrus, and a hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a soft texture, crisp acidity, and a dry, elegant finish.
With an alcohol content of 12.5%, this wine is the perfect choice for those seeking a refined yet approachable white. Ideal as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with light starters, seafood, fresh salads, or soft cheeses.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
