Villa Safranier's AOP Côtes du Rhône Red pk170.3 is an accessible and refined expression of the Southern Rhône. Sourced from clay-limestone soils with pebbles, this wine reflects the sunny character of the region, combined with an elegant structure. The blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah provides a perfect balance of fruitiness, spiciness and softness.
After complete de-stemming, the wine undergoes classic vinification, followed by light filtration to preserve the purity of the fruit. In the glass, it shows a deep raspberry-red colour with violet nuances. The nose opens with enticing aromas of black fruits such as blackcurrant and raspberry, complemented by notes of liquorice, spices and a subtle hint of vanilla and caramel.
On the palate, the wine is supple and round, with silky tannins that slowly develop into an elegant and persistent finish. This wine combines drinking pleasure with character, making it perfect for both everyday moments and convivial dinners.
