Product description
Maison D&D's Pinot Noir - Vallée d'Aosta DOC is an elegant and refined red wine that combines the delicate nature of the Pinot Noir grape with the fresh, mountainous influences of the Valle d'Aosta. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in early September from hillside vineyards maintained according to the Guyot system. Thanks to the cool climate, the grapes retain their lively acidity and refined aromatic expression.
After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo maceration on the skins and fermentation at controlled temperature, with daily over-pumping to enhance colour and structure. The wine then ages in stainless steel vats, preserving its pure, fruity character. In the glass, it shows a light ruby colour that evolves into brick red with age. The nose is intense and refined, with aromas of blackberries, black cherries and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is balanced and round, with a warm, soft structure and mild tannins that provide elegance and length.
The Pinot Noir - Vallée d'Aosta DOC is an excellent companion to grilled red meat, fine charcuterie and poultry. Serve lightly chilled to make the most of its subtle aromas and velvety balance.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
