In Alsace, every wine has its own story, and Edelzwicker 2024 is perhaps one of the most authentic. This traditional blend reflects the freedom of the region: different noble grape varieties are brought together in a single wine, creating a lively and harmonious whole. The grapes are harvested both manually and mechanically from vineyards with clay-limestone soils. In the cellar, gentle pneumatic pressing is used to keep the fruit as pure as possible. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature, allowing the wine to retain its fresh and aromatic character. The wine then matures on the fine lees in tanks, which gives it extra roundness and texture before it is filtered and bottled.
In the glass, the Edelzwicker displays a bright pale yellow colour with silver reflections. The nose opens with floral notes and aromas of white fruit. On the palate, the style remains fresh and elegant, with a nice balance and a lively finish. It is a versatile wine that pairs effortlessly with light dishes and convivial moments at the table.
