Product description
The Müller-Thurgau “Buntsandstein” 2022 from Enderle & Moll is one of the estate’s rarest and smallest-scale wines. The wine comes from a tiny plot of just 0.15 hectares, with around 40 old Müller-Thurgau vines, planted on red sandstone soil. On the nose, the wine is distinctly aromatic, with notes of yellow fruit and citrus, complemented by almond, nutty nuances, a hint of nutmeg and a subtle smokiness.
After three days of skin contact, the grapes are gently pressed, and the wine is then aged for ten months on the lees in used barriques. On the palate, the wine is crisp, bright and delicately juicy, with good grip from ripe tannins and very refined acidity. Nutty and yellow-spicy notes are complemented by chalky and briny nuances, whilst a subtle smokiness returns in the long finish.
According to Enderle & Moll, the Buntsandstein is the most aromatic of their white wines. The combination of old vines, red sandstone, short maceration and prolonged ageing on the lees gives the wine a particularly layered and characterful profile. Despite its aromatic intensity, it remains elegant and fresh, making it excellent both on its own and with food.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:

You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
