Le Cratère is a unique, single-plot sparkling rosé, from just 0.4 hectares of vineyard at the bottom of an impressive meteorite crater. Surrounded by Mediterranean oak forests and rooted in blue schist and alluvial soils, this special place translates directly into the glass.
This 100% Syrah is vinified using the traditional method. Careful selection of the most aromatic and delicate juices is followed by controlled fermentation in stainless steel. In the bottle, the wine undergoes a second fermentation, after which dégorgement and dosage ensure finesse and precision.
In the glass, Le Cratère shows an elegant salmon-pink colour with coppery reflections. The nose is refined, with aromas of red currant, strawberry, citrus and a subtle touch of white pepper. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with fine, persistent bubbles, a nice balance and an elegant briny finish. With 30-year-old vines and 13% alcohol, this wine combines energy, terroir expression and refinement in one exceptional cuvée.
