Léonides Rosé 2025 is an expressive rosé from Faugères, from vineyards with an average age of 20 years, rooted in the estate's distinctive blue schist soils. This stony subsoil gives the wine its subtle minerality and fresh tension, while the Mediterranean climate provides ripe, juicy fruit.
The blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah is pressed immediately after harvest. The destemmed grapes go immediately into the press, followed by fermentation and maturation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the pure fruit character. With an alcohol content of 13.5%, the wine maintains its balance between roundness and lively freshness.
In the glass, Léonides Rosé shows a bright, salmon-pink colour. The nose is exuberant and fruity, with aromas of strawberry and red fruit jelly. On the palate, it is round, with nicely balanced acidity that makes it gastronomically useful. This rosé is excellent with spicy dishes, such as a Thai green curry.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
