2x Rosa Vino da Tavola 2024 — Rosé · 12.5% · €16.00 per bottle
The accessible introduction to Quarna. A delicate natural rosé made from Nebbiolo (80%) and Vespolina (20%), spontaneously fermented using the pied de cuve technique, without added sulphites, unfiltered. Cherry pink in colour, with notes of lychee, pomegranate and pink grapefruit, soft and fresh with a pleasantly slightly bitter finish. Two bottles, because this is a wine for every day and every occasion. Delicious as an aperitif, with grilled vegetables, light fish dishes, chicken and vitello tonnato.
2x Colline Novaresi DOC Vespolina 2023 — Red · 13% · €21.50 per bottle
The characterful red wine of the estate, made from 100% Vespolina — a rare indigenous grape variety that finds its home in the Alto Piemonte. Spontaneously fermented with ten days of maceration, unfiltered and with minimal sulphites. Deep purple-red, with notes of black pepper, liquorice root and flowers. Crunchy, flavourful and persistent, with a lively freshness that invites another sip. Uncork at least half an hour before serving. Excellent with charcuterie, hearty pastas, risotto and savoury soups.
2x Ghemme DOCG 2022 — Red · 14.5% · €32.00 per bottle
The absolute flagship wine of Quarna and one of the great red wines of northern Italy. Made from Nebbiolo (90%) and Vespolina (10%) from 50-year-old vines, spontaneously fermented with 30 days of maceration and aged for 24 months in oak barrels. Ruby red with garnet glints, with notes of dark red fruit, herbs and tobacco. Full and powerful on the palate, with a long, warm finish that fully reflects the strength of this special terroir. Decant for best results. Ideal with game, braised meat, aged cheeses and dark chocolate.
