Product description
Requiebro Gaula 0.2 demonstrates how different grape varieties can complement one another. Tempranillo forms the heart of the wine, whilst Syrah adds extra spiciness and Petit Verdot provides depth and structure. Together, they create a modern, elegant red wine in which fruit, power and finesse are perfectly balanced.
The grapes are fermented using the Ganimede method at a controlled temperature, allowing the aromas and colour to be gently extracted whilst the fruit retains its fresh character. The wine is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels from the Allier region. This extended oak ageing lends the wine extra complexity, velvety tannins and a seamless integration of the oak without overpowering the fruit.
In the glass, Requiebro Gaula 0.2 glows a deep ruby red with light brick-red reflections. The nose opens with ripe black fruits, chocolate and mineral notes, complemented by subtle hints of milk chocolate and a touch of smoke. The palate is velvety smooth, rich and harmonious, with a lovely balance between freshness and warmth. The long, elegant finish lingers with ripe fruit and a refined spiciness. Delicious with red meat, stews, Mediterranean dishes, charcuterie and mature cheeses.
