Requiebro Sonido is a powerful expression of 100% Tempranillo, crafted for lovers of deep, layered red wines. This wine demonstrates just how much character the grape can develop when given time to mature. The result is an elegant wine in which power and refinement come together effortlessly.
Following cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels from the Allier region. It then rests for a further 16 months in the bottle before being released. This extended ageing ensures exceptional aromatic complexity, perfect integration of the oak and a silky-smooth texture.
In the glass, Requiebro Sonido displays a deep cherry-red colour with ruby-red highlights. The bouquet combines ripe black fruit and plums with balsamic notes, spices, leather and subtle hints of liquorice. The palate is powerful yet refined, with ripe, velvety tannins and an impressively long, harmonious finish in which dark fruit compote and spicy nuances linger for a long time. Perfect with red meat, game, stews, grilled dishes and mature cheeses.
