La Canetana's Orange Wine 2025 is a characterful and contemporary interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc, bringing together tradition and experimentation. This monovarietal wine is hand-harvested and carefully selected, focusing on purity and expression of grape and terroir. The special vinification technique gives this wine its distinctive colour and structure.
After cold maceration, the grapes undergo a long skin maceration of no less than 30 days, during which fermentation takes place with the skins in inox tanks at low temperature. This approach gives the wine its typical "orange wine" style: more structure, grip and aromatic complexity than a classic white wine. The wine then matures for five months "sur lie", adding extra depth and a soft texture.
In the glass, the wine shows a warm orange hue. The nose is intense and layered, with notes of citrus, ripe fruit and subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is powerful but elegant, with a light tannic structure and fresh, lively acidity that provides balance. An adventurous wine for lovers looking for something unique and gastronomically useful.
