The history of winery François Braun is a story of generations, patience and quiet dedication. The family's roots reach back to 1583, a heritage still visible today in the family crest on the labels. For a long time, mixed farming was practised until the first wines appeared on the market around 1900 under the leadership of Michel Braun. However, the real founder of today's domain was born in 1910: François Braun. Together with his wife Cécile, he took over the helm in 1934 and built a thriving wine estate step by step after World War II. The first bottlings saw the light of day and the vineyard area grew steadily, sustained by hard work and a deep belief in quality.
