Product description
Durello Vulcano Spumante Brut is a lively and characterful sparkling wine from Roncà, born on the volcanic hill Monte Calvarina. Here, the native Durella grape grows on basalt and clay soils, within the traditional Veronese pergola system. The grapes are harvested by hand in late September, after which they are gently pressed. The juice undergoes a 20-day cold stabilisation at 2°C, followed by spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts between 14 and 16°C. The second fermentation is by the Charmat method, with a 10-month maturation on the groin - also with wild yeasts.
In the glass, Durello Vulcano shines bright and pale yellow. The nose opens creamy and expressive, with floral notes, ripe stone fruits and a hint of sulphur and volcanic rock - a subtle nod to its origins. On the palate, this spumante is tightly dry, with a refreshing, slightly acidic finish beautifully balanced by the fruity character and a mineral touch.
With its pronounced fraîcheur and lively mousse, this wine is the ideal accompaniment to seafood and shellfish. Durello Vulcano is not just any bubbly: it is an authentic volcanic expression that makes tradition and nature fizz in the glass. Serve around 4-5°C for an optimal experience.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:

12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
