Forty years ago, Laurent Merlin's father laid the foundations for what would grow into Domaine Merlin: a small, family-run estate born of a love of the vineyard and the belief that real wine is made by hand. Laurent grew up among the vines. As a child, he could be found in the vineyard more often than at school. At 16, he made his first wine completely independently; soon after, he worked with the estate. At the end of 2023, he took over his father's shares. The circle was complete: the vineyard became not just his work, but the story of his life.
