Léonides Blanc 2024 is a refined expression of Faugères' blue schist terroir. The vines, on average 20 years old, are deeply rooted in the stony soils that provide tension, minerality and natural freshness. The blend of Vermentino, Roussanne, Clairette and Viognier brings together southern aromatic richness with elegance and structure.
After gentle pressing, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks to preserve their pure fruit expression. The wine matures for six months in steel, with part of the cuvée enriched by aging in large 500-litre oak barrels. This gives extra depth and a subtle roundness without overpowering the fresh character. At 13.5% alcohol, the balance between power and finesse is perfectly preserved.
In the glass, Léonides Blanc shows a bright, pale yellow colour with silver reflections. The nose is mineral and refined, with notes of flint, lemon and a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is energetic and tight, with lively acidity and a fresh, slightly exotic finish. An elegant white wine that pairs beautifully with oysters, grilled white fish or sophisticated Mediterranean dishes.
