This Colline Novaresi Spanna from Il Chiosso shows in the glass with a deep ruby colour that evolves elegantly towards garnet. On the nose, it opens intense and layered, with aromas of red fruit, violets and subtle spiciness, complemented by notes of tobacco and a slight earthy nuance. The bouquet is broad, refined and typically Nebbiolo.
On the palate, the wine is dry, tight and vertical in style, with lively acidity and a clear structure. The finish is persistent and full of character, with a fresh tension that keeps the wine lively. An authentic, pure Nebbiolo that comes into its own, especially at the table.
