Requiebro Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful and elegant red wine that showcases the full expression of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1,050 metres, where cool nights ensure slow ripening and exceptional aromatic intensity. This results in a wine with great depth, structure and a distinct character.
Following cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 16 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. This ageing process adds refined oak notes and complexity, whilst preserving the ripe fruit and the grape’s characteristic freshness.
The wine has a deep ruby-red colour and aromas of ripe black fruit, balsamic notes, minerality, toffee and subtle spicy oak notes. On the palate, it is powerful and full-bodied, with a lovely balance, firm yet refined tannins and a long finish in which notes of chocolate and toast re-emerge. Perfect with red meat, game, grilled meat, stews and mature cheeses.
