Requiebro Tempranillo is an elegant and fruit-driven red wine that beautifully showcases this classic Spanish grape variety. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1,050 metres, where cool nights ensure slow ripening and a perfect balance between freshness, concentration and elegance. The result is a Tempranillo with a distinct character and great finesse.
Following cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. This ageing process adds extra depth and smoothness, whilst fully preserving the vibrant fruit and the grape’s unique identity.
The wine has a bright ruby-red colour with violet highlights. The nose is dominated by fresh red fruits, cherry liqueur, liquorice and balsamic notes, complemented by subtle floral accents and a creamy touch. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety smooth and powerful, with ripe tannins, a long, fruity finish and an elegant balance that invites you to take another sip. Delicious with red and white meat, light game, rice dishes, charcuterie and mature cheeses.
