Los Caprichos de Paco Tinto Syrah is a unique red wine made entirely from Syrah and vinified using the traditional method of carbonic maceration. This technique enhances the grape’s fruity and floral character and results in an exceptionally smooth tannin structure. Only 1,000 numbered bottles of this wine have been produced.
The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented as whole bunches using carbonic maceration. After fermentation, the wine matures briefly on the fine lees and is left to rest in the bottle for at least six months. The result is an elegant, lively wine with great freshness, a silky-smooth texture and a pronounced aromatic intensity.
In the glass, the wine displays a bright ruby-red colour with purple highlights. The nose opens with fresh strawberries and cherries, complemented by floral notes of rose and violets and subtle creamy nuances reminiscent of raspberry yoghurt. The palate is supple, fresh and velvety, with ripe tannins and a long, fruity finish. Delicious with tapas, charcuterie, white meat, pizza, rice dishes and Mediterranean cuisine.
