Product description
Natìvo is a wine with historical inspiration. Around the mid-19th century, Count Francesetti produced a ‘Nebbiolo Passito’ on his estate near Loranzè Castle, which received widespread acclaim. Fratelli Marco followed this historical example and created a wine in which selected grapes are left to dry for 3 to 4 weeks before vinification. A tribute to the tradition of this terroir, combined with modern craftsmanship. Gold at the Concorso Città del Vino, for several vintages.
After the appassimento process, the concentrated grapes ferment at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The Natìvo is then aged for 24 months in French oak barriques, followed by 12 months’ bottle ageing. This long, patient ageing process gives the wine its characteristic, pronounced intensity, with the secondary aromas seamlessly integrated with the tertiary notes from the barriques. Deep and concentrated in the glass. The nose is broad and complex. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with a long, persistent finish.
A wine for special occasions. Excellent with roasted meats, game, stews and strongly matured cheeses. Serve at 18°C after allowing it to breathe for at least an hour.

To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
