The Negroamaro Rosato Salento IGP is a sophisticated rosé wine made entirely from the indigenous Negroamaro grape. The wine is vinified using traditional methods with a short skin maceration, maximising the characteristic aromas and flavour structure of the grape variety. This careful process results in a rosé with a bright pink colour and subtle coral reflections.
In the nose, this wine presents itself intensely and persistently, with notes of cherry, pomegranate and roses. On the palate, it is fresh, beautifully balanced and elegantly fruity, with a soft and accessible structure. Thanks to vinification and ageing in stainless steel tanks, the wine retains its fresh character and aromatic purity. Harvest takes place in the second week of September and production is limited to 5,000 bottles. With an alcohol content of 13%, this rosé offers a pleasant drinking experience that is both refined and accessible.
This Negroamaro Rosato is ideal as an aperitif and makes an excellent companion to Italian antipasti, pasta dishes, fish soups, casseroles with white meat and young or lightly aged cheeses. Serve lightly chilled at 12-14 °C to fully appreciate its freshness and elegance.
