The Perlage Rosé Brut Nature from Wein & Sektgut Hirschmüller is an elegant, artisanal Winzersekt made from Pinot Meunier, sourced from loess loam on Muschel limestone, a soil that provides tension, finesse and pure aromatics. The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed as whole bunches to obtain a bright, fruit-driven base compartment. The wine then undergoes classic bottle fermentation along the lines of Champagne. The second fermentation and 30-month maturation on yeast take place entirely in the bottle, resulting in a particularly fine and refined mousse.
On the nose, this soft pink-coloured Sekt presents itself with delicate aromas of raspberry, peach and lychee. These floral and fruity notes reflect the pure character of the Pinot Meunier grape and its precise vinification. On the tongue, an elegant, tightly dry style unfolds with a subtle but very fine pearlisation.
