Adventicia from Viticultores de Lapuebla is a rare and refined white Rioja, sourced from old Garnacha Blanca vines from Alesón, located at around 700 metres altitude. The combination of altitude and ferruginous clay soils gives the wine a unique tension, depth and aromatic intensity.
The blend of 98% Garnacha Blanca and 2% Calagraño is harvested by hand and undergoes a short cryomaceration to obtain maximum expression. Fermentation takes place partly in French oak barrels and partly in glass damajuanas, followed by a 6-month maturation on fine lie with bâtonnage. The wine then rests for a further 8 months in bottle, ensuring a refined balance between freshness, structure and complexity.
In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose is elegant and complex, with aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and melon, complemented by ripe white fruits, subtle wood tones and hints of nutmeg. On the palate, it is round and creamy, with a silky texture, fresh acids and a long, layered finish where fruit and wood come together harmoniously.
