Since the entry of Günther Dopler as cellar master and business manager more than 30 years ago, the winery has taken a modern turn. Technological innovation went hand in hand with a deep reverence for nature. The vines grow in carefully managed vineyards, where Tattendorf's soil composition and microclimate - with more than 2,000 hours of sunshine annually - provide ideal conditions for the internationally loved Burgundy varieties in particular. As co-founder of "Die Burgundermacher", Günther Dopler underlines the importance of consistent top quality and giving wine time to mature in peace.
