Viv Winery's E.P. Rosé is more than a rosé; it is an experiment in expression. The first wine in the Experimental Production series, it symbolises freedom, curiosity and the exploration of new styles. Made in small batches, this wine shows how one grape - Barbera - can present itself in a surprising and elegant way.
The wine comes from young, south-facing vineyards on heavy clay soils of marine origin. Everything is done with respect for nature: manual harvest, no fertiliser and minimal intervention in the cellar. The grapes are directly pressed and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts, after which the wine is quietly aged in inox or fibreglass tanks. Unfiltered and with minimal addition of sulphites, the grape's character is fully preserved.
In the glass, the E.P. Rosé shows itself full and elegant, with aromas of strawberry, cherry and red berries. The deeper colour and medium body give structure, while the fresh acidity keeps the wine lively and drinkable. This is a rosé that balances effortlessly between sophistication and playfulness - perfect for both a summer aperitif and a versatile companion at the table.
