Product description
Viv Winery's E.P. Sauvignon Blanc (Orange Wine) is a bold interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc, bringing together tradition and experimentation. As part of the Experimental Production series, this wine is all about discovery: how far can you go with one grape without losing its essence? The result is a unique, characterful orange wine that goes off the beaten track.
The grapes grow on heavy clay soils of marine origin and are harvested entirely by hand. After crushing, they undergo a 10-day maceration on the skins - a technique that provides colour, structure and depth. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place without temperature control, followed by ageing in stainless steel. With no filtering or clarification and minimal sulphites, the wine remains pure and unpolished, exactly as nature intended.
In the glass, this wine shows an intense orange colour and a distinct aromatic profile. Think dried apricot, spicy notes and subtle earthy complexity. The combination of structure and fresh acidity makes it surprisingly versatile: powerful enough for mature cheeses, but also exciting as an aperitif for those looking for something different. This is not an everyday wine, but an experience.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: ā¬6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
