Requiebro Macabeo showcases the elegance inherent in this classic Spanish grape variety. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards at 850 metres, surrounded by aromatic herbs and holm oaks, this wine offers a fresh and refined expression centred on pure fruit and lively acidity. The grapes are harvested in early September and undergo cold maceration followed by slow fermentation at a controlled temperature. Thanks to the combination of altitude, low yields and a cool climate, the Macabeo retains its fresh character and aromatic intensity, whilst the wine simultaneously gains in concentration and elegance.
In the glass, Requiebro Macabeo sparkles with a pale straw-yellow colour and green highlights. The nose opens with white flowers, white fruit and fresh notes of tropical fruit. On the palate, the wine is lively and beautifully balanced, with a fresh attack, a soft structure and a subtle hint of bitterness in the finish that adds extra length and character. Delicious with tapas, rice dishes, pasta, fish and Mediterranean cuisine.
