Requiebro Garnacha is a powerful yet velvety-smooth red wine that perfectly reflects the rich character of Garnacha. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1,050 metres, where cool nights ensure slow ripening and an exceptional concentration of fruit, colour and elegance. The result is a wine with great depth, a silky-smooth texture and a striking balance.
Following cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. This ageing process adds extra complexity and refinement, whilst preserving the ripe fruit and natural juiciness of the Garnacha.
In the glass, it glistens with a deep ruby red colour and purple reflections. The aroma opens with ripe red and black fruits, blueberries, cherry liqueur and balsamic notes, complemented by mineral nuances, bay leaf and subtle toasted accents. The palate is powerful, full-bodied and harmonious, with plenty of fruit, a velvety texture and a long finish in which chocolate and toasted notes return elegantly. Delicious with grilled meat, barbecue dishes, stews, rice dishes and mature cheeses.
