Vent d'Ange is an expressive sweet Jurançon, made from 100% Petit Manseng sourced from old vines on some of the best terroirs overlooking the Pyrenees. Only the richest and most concentrated grapes are hand-selected, after which the wine is traditionally vinified and aged for 24 months on the fine lees and in stainless steel tanks. This careful process gives the wine its power, complexity and exceptional balance.
In the glass, Vent d'Ange shows straw yellow with golden sparkles. The aroma is intense and persistent, with notes of honey and candied fruit, typical of Petit Manseng. On the palate, it is both full-bodied and lively, with a rich palette of candied fruits, an elegant structure and a long, refined finish. This is a wine that is already delicious, but will continue to develop over the next eight to 10 years.
This Jurançon Doux is ideal as an aperitif with toast with foie gras, but also pairs beautifully with smoked Pyrenean trout, creamy risotto, white meat or a characterful sheep's cheese.
