The 2024 Weissburgunder trocken from Wein & Sektgut Hirschmüller comes from warmly located vineyards right on the Neckar, where the grapes grow on deep loess loam and Muschel lime soils. Thanks to the early morning harvest at cool temperatures, the grapes retain their aromatic freshness and purity. After a particularly gentle pressing, the wine ferments chilled in stainless steel and matures on the fine lie until bottling. The estate's organic method enhances the brightness, tension and purity that characterise this Weissburgunder.
On the nose, the wine shows an attractive and expressive aroma of ripe apple, melon, lime and freshly cut grass. This fresh and fruity aroma gives a taste of the lively style that follows on the palate. The aromatic profile is precise and inviting, with subtle vegetable nuances adding depth to the wine without losing its light character.
On the palate, the 2024 Weissburgunder sich presents juicy, slightly spicy and refined, with a soft but bright acid structure. The wine shows pure fruit expression and a fine creamy texture that makes it particularly accessible. Thanks to its fresh and supple style, this Weissburgunder is an ideal companion to light fish dishes, salads, poultry and soft cheeses, but also perfect as an elegant aperitif. A fresh, harmonious and drinkable white wine with a clear regional signature.
