Zanotelli's Pinot Grigio comes from the vineyards of Saosènt and Vac in the Val di Cembra, located between 400 and 500 metres above sea level. This white grape, internationally known and loved, comes into its own in Trentino thanks to its unique microclimate and mountainous soil composition. Pinot Grigio is known here for its richness of aromas and fine balance between freshness and structure. The grape produces juicy berries with a copper-coloured skin and high sugar concentration.
In the glass, this wine shows straw yellow with light coppery nuances. The bouquet opens with typically fruity aromas of ripe pear, subtle floral notes and a slight spiciness. On the palate, it is dry, lively and juicy, with fresh acidity and a nice balance between body and elegance. Fermentation and ageing on stainless steel ensure that the fruit is perfectly expressed, without distraction from wood.
This Pinot Grigio is a versatile companion at the table. It goes well with light starters such as vegetable soups, but also with white meat, poultry and freshwater fish such as trout. Thanks to its fresh character and refined structure, it is also ideal as an aperitif or with summer lunches. Serve it chilled between 10 and 12 °C for an optimal taste experience.
