The 2024 Merlot Rosé trocken is a fresh, lively and summery rosé that comes from organically grown Merlot grapes on loess loam and Muschel limestone, the typical soils of Lauffen am Neckar. The grapes are harvested in the early morning to preserve their aromatic freshness. After gentle pressing, the wine ferments chilled in stainless steel and rests on the fine lie until bottling. This method gives the rosé a pure, juicy structure and a refined balance between fruit and freshness.
On the nose, the Merlot Rosé presents itself inviting and expressive, with bright aromas of red berries, raspberry and rose hip. These fruity nuances continue on the palate, where the wine opens up with a soft, elegant fruitiness and a refreshing, stimulating structure. The style is modern, light-footed and extremely drinkable, exactly what a summer rosé should be.
Thanks to its lively character and soft fruit expression, the 2024 Merlot Rosé is a versatile companion at the table. It goes perfectly with summer salads, grilled meats, Mediterranean dishes or as a refreshing aperitif on hot days. A rosé that effortlessly combines pleasure, elegance and ease of drinking, making it an absolute favourite for sunny moments.
